Lightswitch is an Home Automation Client for the iPhone/iPod Touch and is a native iPhone application that allows you to control your home automation devices anywhere in the world. Ever wondered if you accidentally left a light on? How about turn the outdoor floodlights on but didn’t feel like walking back downstairs to turn them on? Now you can! All you need is some home automation hardware supported by a Lightswitch certified server application.
Lightswitch consists of two pieces…a server piece which is what the iDevice connects to, and the client piece which runs on your iDevice. There are many different vendors that make Lightswitch Servers such as:
