Rules of play

Each has nine pieces. The
goal of the game is to leave the

Placing the pieces

The game begins with an empty
board. Players take turns to place
their pieces on the board. If a player
is able to form a row of three pieces,
he has a “mill” and may remove one
of his opponent’s pieces. Players
can only remove pieces which are
not in a mill.
Once all pieces have been placed,
players take turns moving.

Moving the pieces

To move, a player selects on of his
pieces and an empty adjacent position
to move to.

Flying

Once a player is reduced to three
pieces, his pieces may “fly”, to
any empty position.
